Lets face it, humans are boring in games. if we just have standard human soldiers, yeah it will be a fast, maybe couple week long project, but nobody would like it enough to spend money on it.
I propose, we add tons of customization options, so many different strategies are involved.
Multiple Races > Multiple Religions per race.
> Multiple Sciences per race.
> Each race has set attributes.
>Each race has custom units.
Race Specific Religion> Each branch of Religion has different deity's to worship, one great deity/ or none at all.
Religion Specific Diety's> Each Diety per Town gives custom improvements/units.
> One great diety worshiped across the empire provides multiple custom units/improvements.
> No deity yields shamanistic enhancements, which provides a TON of enhancements to units, but only slight enhancements. some custom units possibly as well.
Custom Sciences> Sciences cancel each other out. learning Science A, Renders Science E un-learnable.
> Some Sciences require a certain branch of religion. |
